Cheryl's enthusiasm and passion for teaching brings the classroom to life. She has a love for cardiac and critical care nursing and is an advocate for heart health, particularly dedicated to raising awareness of heart disease in women. Cheryl's audiences include, but are not limited to, nurses, APNs, PAs, EMTs, paramedics, and service/social groups.

Cheryl's innovative cardiac and critical care classes provide the latest evidence-based practice in clinical assessment and interventions. Cheryl takes complex subjects and makes them understandable in a fun, creative way. Her teaching approach stimulates both the novice and expert nurse to critically think. In addition, Cheryl adapts her presentations for public audiences and pre-hospital emergency medical personnel.
